The following resources should help you create a design document. They are industry standard guides used by quality game programs to demonstrate the content of a game design document. Later you will be producing other game documentation, including the media design document, daily deltas, schedules, scripts, art pipeline, etc as needed. Please keep this in mind as you begin your journey down the game documentation path. The GDD is a living document, so what you complete will never actually be "finished". However, this document also serves as the "law" for your team. It is your agreement, and your beacon. If written well it will keep people moving in the same direction and on track.
