Blitz3d is an extensible environment. That means that you can create much more visually interesting games with tools other people have created. Here are a few examples of how to make those Blitz3D games look and act a little less like "student games."

As you get more comfortable with custom functions, arrays and object collections these tools will be easy to use. Some of these are much better documented than others.

There are also some really cool tools for doing motion tracking, gestures, etc. Blitz has been around long enough for there to be a whole host of useful tools.
